I HAVE WINGS!

Well, not yet. I should have wings in...a year- maybe two- if I'm lucky?

I'm someone by the label of Mythical (I know, dumb name, but we can't think of anything better). The definition of Mythical is a little confusing, but in my own words: A Mythical is a human with modifications that blur the line between human and something else.
Well, you don't have to be human to be Mythical too, but it doesn't make you inhuman, either. I forgot that it's not so easily defined, actually. It's a bit of an esoteric thing to me, as it's something I've known myself to be for so long.

Though, being Mythical is much more than just what I am. It's an umbrella term. There are many different types of Mythicals; mermaids, shifters (another umbrella term), magical girls, kitsunes. I'm a member of the most popular group within the community, an avian. These are defined much more easily than their parent label. An avian is just a human with wings!

I hope my pitch worked, because if this interests you, you're in luck. This section of my site is written with the goal of helping you find your way around as a new Mythical (as well as my own love letter to my Mythicality).

This is something extremely near and dear to my heart, as it's something almost my entire identity is based around. So much has changed because of it, and my life will never be the same. That, I'm grateful for. I've always wanted to fly more than anything in the world, and I'm excited for the freedom I'll have once I'm done here. Even if all I get out of this is the two empty sockets in my back right now, I'll be satisfied!

If you're looking around now, I'd suggest the misconceptions page first. I do have a guide for newbies, but if you're already set on your journey as an avian, you should probably know what you're getting into. If the idea of Mythicality is interesting to you, but not wings specifically, then I have a small page written about other Mythical types. Of course, other types aren't really my specialty, so I can't go into too much detail, but it's not a bad starting place if you don't want to just dive into the trenches (wattpad).
