Vast Error is a webcomic about twelve trolls who play a reality altering video game which ends the world. It's not the same game as in Homestuck, but there are a lot of similarities between HS and VE (namely the species of the characters). You don't need to have read HS to understand VE, so you could just jump into it right now if you wanted!
There's tons of worldbuilding special to the planet the characters live on, as well as concepts that were re-explained after HS and changes specific to VE.
